A Warm Welcome...

Bajthala Traditional Homes is an ecological resort that provides an experience rich in both natural beauty and cultural diversity for the adventurous traveler.

The location is set high on a hill overlooking the Pokhara valley and thus provides extensive photographic opportunities. Built on the crest of the hill the location is also shared by black kite, harpy & white-tailed eagles who use the tall pine trees to roost in. The panorama to the north includes a wide view of the Himalaya, from Dhaulagiri in the far west, with the massif of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna-II, III & 4 to Manaslu in the far east.

Where we are

Bajthala Traditional Homes is sited on a mountain ridge above the Seti valley near Pokhara. The village of Dulegauda (1 hour from Pokhara / 5.30 from Kathmandu) is our gateway.
From Dulegauda, the resort can be reached in two ways: by a short, easy, and picturesque hike between fields and forests, or by jeep from the main road in about 30 minutes.

Let's go hike

Bajthala is the starting point of many treks in the region, including the Millennium Trek, involving homestay experiences long the route. The resort itself can also be used as a base for a number of day hikes which connect with all other treks within the Annapurna region.
