Bajthala Traditional Homes is sited on a ridge overlooking Seti Valley near Pokhara. The village of Dulegauda (1 hour from Pokhara / 5.30 from Kathmandu) is our gateway.

From Dulegauda, the Resort can be reached:

  • Hiking across the suspension bridge over the river gorge and then continuing past a Tibetan settlement, through several small villages before crossing the Seti River into the lush forests of pine trees and then up the final ridge which provide breathtaking views of the high mountains and deep river valleys. This short path will take approximately two hours. We can easily offer you a guide to come and pick you up in Dulegauda, as well as a porter service to carry your luggage. You can also follow this track on your own  wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/dulegaunda-to-bajshthala
  • From the Dhor Barahi Mandir temple, where you can easily park your car or walk from Dulegauda, there is also a path that leads to Bajthala, taking the opportunity to visit the temple. If you want to come on your own you can follow this track wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/from-dhor-barahi-mandir-parking-to-bajthala-traditional-homes. From the parking lot you can also follow the road.
  • By Jeep: A shorter alternative is to take the jeep to the resort which will take about 30 minutes from the main road in Dulegauda.
  • We can provide a private vehicle from Kathmandu, Pokhara or any other origin point and from Bajthala to any destination in Nepal.
  • You can reach Dulegauda by public “tourist bus” from Kathmandu and Pokhara
